Interdisciplinary activities
Students are required to take an interdisciplinary seminar designed to stimulate critical thinking, active learning that prepares a student for rigorous intellectual exploration. Any Intermediate students becoming is eligible to pursiua this course as for the guidelines of the Osmania University, Hyderabad. Unlike the other general B.Com Courses this particular course has got ample opportunities in understanding, Economics, Commerce, Communication Skill etc, along with the knowledge of Software development with akin to computer related accounting procedures and practices. For this initiative the students are exposed to be a computer literate and to certain extent a computer savvy, which would a creative much impact in the curriculum of this course. By pursuing this course the students are becoming knowledge oriented not only learning accounting methodologies but also envisaging themselves to the areas of computers with the learning of required software systems.
The students who are all pursuing this course are being wanted personalities by the accounting practices organizations such as Charted Accountants, Banking Services, Company Secretary, Financial Services etc.
Our college is also motivating the students to undergo internship practices in order to gain practical oriented curriculum by keenly observing that their studies are not disturbed. After the completion of the course the corporate/industry prefers them to be a part and parcel of their organizations Human resources. This particular course is also paving the path for further pursuing of higher studies as per the choices of the students at all times.
The college of also endeavouring ourselves by seeking external opportunities to our students to get them place either as internship students or on a regular employments.
Apart from the other conventional courses as approved by the Osmania University, Board of Intermediate Studies, we have identified a few knowledge management clubs such as English Club, Mathematics Club, Economics Club and Finance and Account Club which are the motivational factors to our students to present themselves amicably in the presence of other confidently and also to update their skill and practical aspects of their studies all these clubs will be assisted by the faculty members of the domain subjects to mould the students to understand the changing environment in the corporate sector. Also further more clubs are also in contemplation.
Financial education workshops
The college conducts workshops on a regular basis. On an average, six workshops are conducted by experts combining practical knowledge with theory and laced with examples from the industry.
Campus placement
Every year close to 50 students are placed in companies. Anishians are presently working in Delloite, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC, ICICI, Wells Fargo, Amazon, WeMakeScholars, HSBC, Navbharat bank, Genpact to name a few.
Commerce & Management Exhibition
Novota, the management event for BBA students is looked forward to not just by our students but also by students of other colleges. The event is gaining popularity with each passing year.
