Three lives

They have been in the news of late. Each one has a story to tell, a tale of circumstance that led them to take decisions that enriched their life. Mohammad Nooruddin, a 51-year-old passed the SSC exam after 34 attempts: thanks to Covid-19 as the government decided to promote all students.

They have been in the news of late. Each one has a story to tell, a tale of circumstance that led them to take decisions that enriched their life. Mohammad Nooruddin, a 51-year-old passed the SSC exam after 34 attempts: thanks to Covid-19 as the government decided to promote all students.

No sooner did the news make headlines, several people started poking fun at Noor. Would he have passed if not for the pandemic? Was the common refrain. In all probability, he would not have but the perseverance paid off.

In the case of Sarada, a techie, a former employee of Virtuesa Technologies,Hyd., selling vegetables was the last thing on her mind a few months ago, but thanks to the pandemic, she went ahead and started selling vegetables. The news spread and she was on news channels and papers. As a consequence, she is now offered a laptop and a free online course to upgrade her skill.

Take the case of Ravi Hongal, a photographer from Belghavi. Such was his passion that he constructed a house in the shape of a camera and also named his children as ‘Canon’, ‘Nikon’ and ‘Epson’. That is taking things too far, one may say, but passion has no limits nor bounds.

Ravi Hongal

One may not agree with Nooruddin pursuing something that was not in his reach, few may question Ravi on naming his children after brands as they have to endure peoples’ ridicule and shaming and also question Sarada for selling vegetables as a gimmick to catch eyeballs. The truth is, they all followed their heart and succeeded.
